In 1986 Poplar Pastoral came about when we could not find the necessary hinges to suit our own farming requirements. So with a background in Mechanics and Engineering we started designing our own hinges, latches and stockyard components right here in Australia.

After our unique products proved successful on our own farm, we decided to manufacture and sell them with the aim of helping other farmers make their lives easier and increase productivity in the Australian Rural Industry.

A lot of our original designs have won us Awards in various categories such as 'Innovation' at Field Days and events throughout Australia.

Poplar Pastoral is still owned and managed by the same family and we take pride in ensuring our customers have a quality product and exceptional personal service.
